Overview
Section titled “Overview”Content is the heart of your campaigns. This guide covers creating, organizing, and managing content assets in ThriveSend B2B2G, including version control, approval workflows, and the content library.

Understanding Content Management

Section titled “What is Content?”In ThriveSend, content refers to all creative assets used in campaigns:
Content Types:
- 📧 Email Templates: HTML email designs
- 📄 Landing Pages: Campaign landing pages
- 🖼️ Images: Photos, graphics, illustrations
- 🎥 Videos: Video content and embeds
- 📝 Copy: Written content and messaging
- 📎 Documents: PDFs, presentations, attachments

Step 4: Upload and Review

- Files uploaded to secure cloud storage

- Thumbnail generation (for images/videos)

- POPIA compliance check
- Asset available in library

Version Control

Creating New Version

Reverting to Previous Version

- Open content version history
- Select version to restore
- Click Revert to This Version
- Confirm reversion

Deleting Content
Section titled “Deleting Content”IMPORTANT: Deletion is permanent and subject to POPIA retention policies.
Business Content:
- Can be deleted by authorized users
- Requires confirmation
- Audit logged
Government Content:
- Cannot be deleted (POPIA/audit requirements)
- Must be archived instead
- Permanent retention for compliance

Troubleshooting

Solution:
- Check file size (within limits)
- Verify file format is supported
- Check internet connection stability
- Disable browser extensions temporarily
- Try different browser
- For large files: Use bulk upload feature
Issue: Version Conflict
Section titled “Issue: Version Conflict”Symptom: “Version conflict” error when saving
Solution:
- Another user edited the content simultaneously
- Refresh page to see latest version
- Copy your changes
- Create new version with your updates
- Merge changes manually if needed
Issue: Approval Stuck
Section titled “Issue: Approval Stuck”Symptom: Content pending approval for long time
Solution:
- Check approval workflow timeline
- Send reminder to approver
- Verify approver has necessary permissions
- Check if approver is on leave
- Escalate to admin if overdue
- For government: Allow full approval window
Issue: Cannot Find Content

Solution:
- Check if content is archived
- Verify folder location
- Use search with broader criteria
- Check if content was deleted (audit log)
- Verify you have permission to view content
- For government content: Verify security clearance
POPIA Compliance
