Year 1:

  • NSTF pays: R300K-R500K (awards system)
  • iSu member referrals: 3-5 organizations sign contracts (R2.5M-R5M revenue to iSu)
  • NSTF receives: R200K-R400K (8% commission) OR R150K-R250K (sponsorships)
  • Net NSTF position: R50K-R250K positive (commissions/sponsorships offset awards investment)

Year 2:

Q: Can we negotiate on price? A: Pricing reflects fair value for scope, but we’re flexible on payment structures, phasing, and value exchange. Let’s discuss your budget and priorities.

Q: What if we run out of budget mid-project? A: Milestone-based payments protect both parties. We can also pause and resume when budget is available (though timeline extends).

Q: Are there ongoing costs beyond initial investment? A: Yes - hosting, maintenance, and support (R50K-R80K annually for awards, R200K-R400K for full ecosystem). Ensures platform stays secure, performant, and current.

Q: What happens if we’re not satisfied with the platform? A: Milestone payments mean you only pay for delivered value. User acceptance testing (UAT) gate ensures you approve before final payment. We also offer outcomes-based pricing to share performance risk.

Q: Can we add features later without full rebuild? A: Yes - modular architecture allows feature additions. Start with Option A, upgrade to B or C later. Pricing is additive, not duplicative.

Q: How does ecosystem partnership affect pricing? A: Referrals to NSTF members generate revenue for iSu. We can offset this by reducing NSTF’s investment, offering larger member discounts, or sharing revenue back to NSTF (commissions, sponsorships).

Q: What if members don’t convert to iSu clients (Option D fails)? A: NSTF still gets awards platform at agreed price (R300K-R500K). Partnership is bonus, not requirement. Risk is shared - iSu invests in member services hoping for conversions.
