What Happens:

  • ✅ Your user account is created in Clerk
  • ✅ You’re authenticated with a secure session
  • ⏳ Organization needs to be created (next step)
  • ⏳ Full access to dashboard pending organization setup

ThriveSend uses Clerk for enterprise-grade authentication:

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) - Optional, recommended for enhanced security ✅ Session Management - Automatic timeout after 30 minutes of inactivity
Secure Password Storage - Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text ✅ Email Verification - Required to prevent fake accounts ✅ Organization Isolation - Complete data separation between service providers

Your authentication data is:

  • Stored in South African data centers
  • Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest
  • Logged for audit purposes (login events tracked)
  • Subject to SA data protection laws (POPIA)
