Accelerator Quick Reference (Dan’s Framework)

Section titled “Accelerator Quick Reference (Dan’s Framework)”
CodeNameDan’s Core Message
A1Wealth CreationBuilding, creating, or buying assets. “Money at work” vs “people at work.”
A2Financial LiteracyIncome statements, balance sheets, tax optimization. Rich Dad Poor Dad principles.
A3Investing”The lower the risk, the higher the growth” — the inverse relationship. Time, money, and talents.
A4EntrepreneurshipCashflow Quadrant right side (B and I). EBSI model. Mentorship levels 1-7.

The EBSI model is adapted from Robert Kiyosaki’s Cashflow Quadrant. Educators are encouraged to be both employees AND entrepreneurs — a dual identity, not a departure from teaching. Dan’s words: “We want teachers who teach science subjects to be entrepreneurs because otherwise they risk being fake teachers who don’t practice what they teach.”

“Thank you for the opportunity to present our proposed solution for the SANSA Educator Professional Development Platform.”

“Dan, in your December presentation you challenged us to think about how space education can flip the script — moving 460,000 educators from ‘people at work’ to ‘money at work.’ Today, we want to show you a functional prototype that demonstrates how we propose to track that journey using your Four Space Innovation Accelerators and the EBSI model.”

“Before we dive in — what you’ll see is a prototype with simulated data. We’ve populated approximately 50,000 educator records across all nine provinces to validate that our architecture can scale to the full 460,000. This is not production — it demonstrates our understanding of your framework and our technical approach.”

“Full production deployment will include security hardening, integration with SANSA systems, migration of your actual educator data, and the Phase 2 features we’ll discuss.”

  • “Functional prototype”
  • “Demonstrates our understanding of your framework”
  • “Simulated data to validate scalability”
  • “Your Four Space Innovation Accelerators”
  • “Adapted from Kiyosaki’s Cashflow Quadrant”
  • “Production-ready”
  • “Fully complete”
  • “Already built”
  • “Just needs deployment”
  • “You can use this immediately”
  • Calling them just “Four Accelerators” — always say “Four Space Innovation Accelerators”

  1. Navigate to https://sansa.isutech.co.za
  2. Login with dan.matsapola@sansa.gov.za credentials
  3. Pause on dashboard to highlight key metrics

“The platform uses role-based authentication. For this demonstration, I’m logging in as an administrator — which provides full access to all features.”

“The dashboard provides an at-a-glance view of programme progress:

  • Total educator enrollment against the 460,000 target
  • EBSI level distribution — where educators sit on the Cashflow Quadrant
  • Progress across all four Space Innovation Accelerators
  • Workshop activity and completion rates
  • Provincial breakdown across all nine provinces”

“This is the answer to ‘Solve for X’ — at a glance, you can see whether the programme is on track toward Vision 2030.”

If Asked…Say…
”Is this live data?""This is simulated data representative of what your actual educator records would look like."
"Can we start using this?""This demonstrates our approach. Production deployment includes security certification and your actual data migration."
"How current is the data?""The prototype is populated with realistic simulated data. In production, this would reflect real-time educator activity.”

Section 2: Educator Management (5 minutes)

Section titled “Section 2: Educator Management (5 minutes)”
  1. Navigate to Educators page
  2. Demonstrate search functionality (search for a name)
  3. Apply filters (Province: Gauteng, EBSI Level: B)
  4. Click into an educator detail page
  5. Show EBSI journey and Space Innovation Accelerator progress
  6. Scroll to ML predictions section

“The educator registry supports comprehensive search and filtering. Programme managers can quickly locate educators by name, province, or EBSI level.”

“Each educator has a detailed profile showing:

  • Personal and professional information
  • Progress across all four Space Innovation Accelerators — Wealth Creation, Financial Literacy, Investing, and Entrepreneurship
  • Their EBSI journey — where they sit on the Cashflow Quadrant”

“An important point — this tracks their financial empowerment journey alongside their teaching career. As Dan explained, the goal is educators who are both great teachers AND entrepreneurs. Not one or the other — both. A science teacher who doesn’t practise what they teach about wealth creation risks being, in Dan’s words, a ‘fake teacher.’”

“Here’s something that differentiates our solution — AI-powered insights.”

“The system analyses engagement patterns to:

  • Predict progression probability on the Cashflow Quadrant
  • Identify educators who may need additional mentorship support
  • Recommend which Space Innovation Accelerator to focus on next”

“This means facilitators can be proactive — providing mentorship and support before educators stall on their journey, not after.”

If Asked…Say…
”How accurate are the predictions?""The model uses engagement patterns, workshop attendance, and accelerator progress. Accuracy improves as the system learns from actual outcomes."
"Can we export educator data?""Yes, CSV export is available for all educator data. I can demonstrate that if you’d like."
"How do educators get registered?""The platform supports manual registration and bulk import via CSV for existing educator lists."
"Does this mean educators must leave teaching?""Not at all — the platform tracks their entrepreneurial and investment growth while they continue teaching. Dan’s model is about dual identity: great teachers who are also wealth creators.”

Section 3: Workshop Management (5 minutes)

Section titled “Section 3: Workshop Management (5 minutes)”
  1. Navigate to Workshops page
  2. Show workshop list with status filters
  3. Apply filter (Accelerator: A1 - Wealth Creation)
  4. Click into a workshop to show details
  5. Show enrollment list with educator details
  6. Demonstrate Create Workshop modal (fill partially, don’t submit)
  7. Show Edit capability

“Workshop management is central to the platform. The system supports the complete workshop lifecycle:

  • Scheduling and capacity management
  • Educator enrollment
  • Attendance tracking
  • Completion and CETA certification”

“Each workshop is linked to one of the four Space Innovation Accelerators. Let me show you — if I filter by A1, Wealth Creation, you see workshops focused on building and buying assets, the ‘money at work’ strategy. Filter by A3, Investing, and you see workshops on the inverse relationship Dan described — ‘the lower the risk, the higher the growth’ — investing time, money, and talents.”

“This structure ensures we can measure balanced development across all four accelerators, not just workshop attendance.”

“The enrollment view shows which educators are registered, their attendance status, and completion. When an educator completes a CETA-accredited workshop, the system can automatically issue their certificate.”

“Creating a new workshop is straightforward — province, accelerator, capacity, dates, and CETA accreditation details.”

If Asked…Say…
”Can facilitators create workshops?""Role permissions are configurable. We’d recommend admins create workshops while facilitators manage enrollments."
"Does it integrate with existing systems?""Integration scope is confirmed during requirements refinement. We can connect to HR systems, SACE, or other data sources as needed."
"How does attendance work in the field?""The platform is mobile-responsive. Facilitators can manage attendance from tablets. QR code check-in is a Phase 2 enhancement."
"How do workshop topics align to accelerators?""Each accelerator has its own curriculum stream. For example, A2 Financial Literacy workshops cover income statements, balance sheets, and tax optimisation — the Rich Dad Poor Dad principles Dan described.”

  1. Navigate to EBSI Tracking page
  2. Show the level distribution chart
  3. Highlight progression metrics
  4. Show transition trends

“The EBSI tracking module is the heart of the platform — it visualises Dan’s adaptation of Robert Kiyosaki’s Cashflow Quadrant for the education context.”

“The four quadrants — Employee, Business Owner, Self-Employed, Investor — represent the world of business. The left side of the quadrant is where most people operate: earning, paying tax, spending. The right side — Business Owner and Investor — is what Dan calls the ‘fast track,’ where money works for you.”

“You can see:

  • Current distribution across all four quadrants
  • How educators are developing awareness and skills on the right side
  • Transition trends over time by province”

“Critically, this does not mean educators leave teaching. Dan’s model is about dual identity — an educator who is also a wealth creator. The platform tracks their growing financial independence alongside their teaching career. The question isn’t ‘who has left employment?’ — it’s ‘who is developing the skills to operate on both sides of the quadrant?’”

“In the entrepreneurship accelerator, Dan described a mentorship progression from Level 1 — amateur experimenting — through to Level 7 — mastery. The platform can track where each educator sits on that journey.”

If Asked…Say…
”How do educators move between levels?""EBSI progression is driven by accelerator completion, self-assessment, and facilitator evaluation. The criteria are configurable to match SANSA’s mentorship level framework — Level 1 through 7."
"What defines each level?""The EBSI model is adapted from Kiyosaki’s Cashflow Quadrant. Employee, Business Owner, Self-Employed, and Investor each represent a different relationship with income and assets. SANSA’s definitions and progression criteria can be configured in the system."
"Does this mean educators must leave teaching?""No — this is about dual identity. An educator who understands wealth creation, financial literacy, investing, and entrepreneurship is a better teacher precisely because they practise what they teach. The platform tracks both their professional development as teachers and their growth as wealth creators."
"What about mentorship levels?""Dan’s framework describes a Level 1 to Level 7 progression under mentorship. The platform can track this progression within the Entrepreneurship accelerator. Phase 2 can expand this with mentor assignment and level-specific milestones.”

Section 5: Provincial Analytics (3 minutes)

Section titled “Section 5: Provincial Analytics (3 minutes)”
  1. Navigate to Provincial page
  2. Show the overview with all nine provinces
  3. Click into one province (Gauteng or KwaZulu-Natal)
  4. Show provincial metrics and educator list

“Provincial analytics support nationwide programme management across all nine provinces and 25,000 schools.”

“At a glance, you can see:

  • Educator distribution per province
  • EBSI quadrant levels by region
  • Space Innovation Accelerator completion rates
  • Active workshops per province”

“Drilling into a specific province shows detailed metrics — which accelerators are strong, where educators need more support, and what workshops are scheduled.”

“This enables regional facilitators to manage their portfolio while national managers track overall programme health. When Dan talks about proving that space education creates wealth creators — this is the data that proves it, province by province.”

If Asked…Say…
”Can provinces only see their data?""Yes, role-based access can restrict facilitators to their assigned provinces while admins see everything."
"Can we compare provinces?""The overview provides comparison. We can enhance with ranking and benchmarking in Phase 2.”

”Can we customize the certificate design?""The template is configurable. During implementation, we refine the design to match SANSA’s exact specifications."
"Can reports be scheduled?""Currently on-demand. Scheduled automated reports can be added in Phase 2."
"Is there a verification system?""Each certificate has a unique number. Public verification can be added if required.”

  1. Navigate to Settings page
  2. Toggle Dark/Light mode
  3. Show profile update capability
  4. Show Change Password option
  5. Resize browser OR show on mobile device

“Importantly, the platform is fully responsive. Facilitators in the field can access the system from tablets or mobile phones.”

[Show mobile view]

“The interface adapts to smaller screens while maintaining full functionality - essential for facilitators conducting workshops in various locations.”

If Asked…Say…
”Does it work offline?""Currently requires internet connectivity. Offline capability can be explored as a future enhancement."
"What about data on mobile networks?""The platform is optimized for performance. Pages load efficiently even on slower connections.”

“What you’ve seen today demonstrates our technical approach and — more importantly — our understanding of Dan’s Four Space Innovation Accelerators, the EBSI model adapted from Kiyosaki’s Cashflow Quadrant, and SANSA’s Vision 2030 mission.”

“The prototype validates our architecture’s ability to:

  • Track 460,000 educators across all four Space Innovation Accelerators
  • Visualise the EBSI journey — the Cashflow Quadrant in action
  • Manage workshops with CETA accreditation and certification
  • Provide AI-powered insights for proactive mentorship and intervention
  • Report at provincial and national level to prove programme impact”

“Our production implementation includes:

  • Security hardening and certification
  • Migration of your actual educator data
  • Integration with SANSA systems where required
  • Formal User Acceptance Testing
  • Phase 2 features including mentorship level tracking, notifications, and audit logging”

“Dan, you challenged us to ‘solve for X.’ The X is proof — proof that your Space Innovation Accelerators are working, proof that educators are developing wealth creation skills while remaining great teachers, proof that Vision 2030 is on track. This platform is how we make that proof measurable.”

“As you said: Everyday is Payday — but only if we can show the data to back it up.”

“What questions do you have?”

”Why does development take X months if this already works?”

Section titled “”Why does development take X months if this already works?””

“This prototype demonstrates our architecture and validates feasibility. Production deployment involves critical phases:

  • Security certification for handling educator data
  • Integration with your existing SANSA systems
  • Migration and validation of actual educator records
  • Formal UAT cycles with stakeholder sign-off
  • Phase 2 features not demonstrated today — including mentorship level tracking and notifications
  • Training, documentation, and support infrastructure"

“The prototype is a demonstration environment with simulated data. Production deployment requires your actual educator data, security hardening to protect real information, and integration with SANSA systems. Our proposal covers this complete pathway to production."

"Did you build this specifically for us?”

Section titled “"Did you build this specifically for us?””

“Yes. We studied Dan’s Four Space Innovation Accelerators framework, the EBSI model adapted from Kiyosaki’s Cashflow Quadrant, and the Vision 2030 goals. This prototype is purpose-built for SANSA’s model — it’s not a generic LMS we’ve relabelled. That investment ensures our timeline and pricing are accurate and achievable."

“The architecture is designed for flexibility. Requirements refinement happens in Phase 1 before production deployment. The prototype enables concrete discussions about your specific needs — for example, how mentorship levels 1-7 should work, or how to define progression criteria on the Cashflow Quadrant."

“The prototype demonstrates core workflows. Production includes security hardening, system integrations, data migration, UAT, Phase 2 features, and ongoing support. Our proposal itemises all deliverables."

“The production system will include:

  • JWT-based authentication with secure tokens
  • Role-based access control
  • HTTPS encryption for all communications
  • POPIA-compliant data handling
  • Audit logging for sensitive actions"

"Can you host this on SANSA infrastructure?”

Section titled “"Can you host this on SANSA infrastructure?””

“We can deploy to SANSA infrastructure or provide hosted services. Deployment options are flexible based on your IT requirements."

"Are educators expected to leave teaching?”

Section titled “"Are educators expected to leave teaching?””

“Not at all. Dan’s model is about dual identity — educators who are both great teachers AND developing as entrepreneurs and investors. A science teacher who understands wealth creation, financial literacy, and investing teaches with authenticity. The platform tracks their growth on the Cashflow Quadrant alongside their professional development as teachers."

"How does this connect to Kiyosaki’s model?”

Section titled “"How does this connect to Kiyosaki’s model?””

“The EBSI framework is Dan’s adaptation of Robert Kiyosaki’s Cashflow Quadrant from the book of the same name. The four quadrants — Employee, Business Owner, Self-Employed, Investor — represent different ways people earn and grow wealth. The platform tracks which quadrants educators are developing competence in, with the goal of building awareness and skills on the right side of the quadrant — the ‘fast track’ where money works for you."

"What are the mentorship levels Dan mentioned?”

Section titled “"What are the mentorship levels Dan mentioned?””

“Dan described a Level 1 to Level 7 progression within the Entrepreneurship accelerator, from amateur experimenting to mastery under mentorship guidance. The current prototype tracks EBSI quadrant positioning. Phase 2 can expand this with dedicated mentorship level tracking, mentor assignment, and level-specific milestones.”

“Let me refresh. The demonstration environment is on shared infrastructure - production would be on dedicated, optimized resources.”

“That’s valuable prototype testing - we identify edge cases before production. Let me show you another area.”
