Organization Onboarding
Section titled “Organization Onboarding”After signing in for the first time, you’ll be guided through creating your service provider organization. This is a mandatory step before you can access the ThriveSend dashboard.

Organization Setup Form
Section titled “Organization Setup Form”Step 1: Organization Name
Section titled “Step 1: Organization Name”Enter your service provider’s official business name.

Tips:
- Use your official registered business name
- This will appear in emails and communications
- Can be changed later in settings

Step 2: Service Type Selection
Section titled “Step 2: Service Type Selection”Choose the type of clients you serve:

| B2B | Business to Business only | Corporations, SMEs, Startups |
| B2G | Business to Government only | Government departments, Municipalities |
| B2B2G | Both Business and Government | Mixed client portfolio |

Recommendation: Choose B2B2G if you serve or plan to serve both types of clients. This provides the most flexibility.
Step 3: Industry Sector
Section titled “Step 3: Industry Sector”Select your primary industry:

Step 4: Contact Information
Section titled “Step 4: Contact Information”Provide your organization’s contact details:

POPIA Note: This information is used for compliance and client communications. It will be stored securely in accordance with POPIA regulations.
Step 5: Compliance Acknowledgment
Section titled “Step 5: Compliance Acknowledgment”Review and accept the compliance requirements:

What You’re Agreeing To:
- ✅ Organization data will be stored in South African data centers
- ✅ All operations will be logged for POPIA audit compliance
- ✅ You’re responsible for obtaining client consent for marketing
- ✅ You’ll comply with South African data protection laws
Step 6: Create Organization
Section titled “Step 6: Create Organization”Review all your information and click “Create Organization”.

What Happens When You Click “Create Organization”

Section titled “Backend Process”- Clerk Organization Created - Organization registered in Clerk
- Database Record Created - Organization entry in ThriveSend database
- User Role Assigned - You’re automatically assigned

Success Confirmation
Section titled “Success Confirmation”Organization Created Successfully
Section titled “Organization Created Successfully”Once your organization is created, you’ll see a success message.

What You Can Do Now:
- ✅ Access the dashboard
- ✅ Create clients (business and/or government)
- ✅ Set up campaigns
- ✅ Invite team members
- ✅ Configure organization settings
Automatic Redirect to Dashboard
Section titled “Automatic Redirect to Dashboard”After successful organization creation, you’ll be automatically redirected to the main dashboard.

Organization Settings
Section titled “Organization Settings”Viewing Your Organization
Section titled “Viewing Your Organization”You can view and edit your organization details at any time:
- Go to Settings in the sidebar
- Click Organization tab
- View or edit organization information

Troubleshooting Onboarding
Section titled “Troubleshooting Onboarding”Issue: “Organization Name Already Exists”

Solution:
- Choose a unique organization name
- Add your city or province to differentiate (e.g., “Marketing SA Johannesburg”)
- Contact support if you believe you own this name
Issue: Form Won’t Submit
Section titled “Issue: Form Won’t Submit”Symptom: Create Organization button not working
Solution:
- Check all required fields are filled (marked with *)
- Verify phone number format (+27 format)
- Accept compliance acknowledgment checkbox
- Try refreshing the page and re-entering information
Issue: Stuck on Onboarding Page After Creation
Section titled “Issue: Stuck on Onboarding Page After Creation”Symptom: Organization created but not redirected to dashboard
Solution:
- Manually navigate to
/dashboardin browser - If still redirected back to onboarding, clear browser cache
- Sign out and sign in again
- Contact support if issue persists
Important Notes
Section titled “Important Notes”You Are the Organization Admin
Section titled “You Are the Organization Admin”As the organization creator, you automatically become the Service Provider Admin with full permissions:
✅ Can do everything:
- Manage all clients
- Create and manage campaigns
- View all analytics
- Invite and manage team members
- Configure organization settings
- Manage billing and subscriptions
- Set up compliance configurations
Organization Cannot Be Deleted
Section titled “Organization Cannot Be Deleted”Once created, organizations cannot be deleted through the UI for compliance reasons (POPIA audit requirements).
To close an organization:
- Contact support@isutech.co.za with:
- Organization name
- Reason for closure
- Confirmation that all client data has been handled appropriately
POPIA Compliance Details
Section titled “POPIA Compliance Details”Data Stored
Section titled “Data Stored”The following information is stored when you create an organization:

Your Rights
Section titled “Your Rights”Under POPIA, you have the right to:
- Access your organization data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request data portability
- Understand how data is used
